This Friday Sydney CBD will come alive as we celebrate 100 days until the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026™ kicks off on 1 March with the Matildas’ blockbuster opening clash against the Phillipines at Perth Stadium.
Friday’s event will commence with some lively cultural entertainment and feature appearances by stars past, present and future as well as the unveiling of the official match ball.
This vibrant celebration will see a 2.4-metre-tall “100” installation featuring the dreams of 100 Fearless Dreamers – young footballers from grassroots clubs – with the winner from hundreds of entrants to be announnced on the day.
This will be an unmissable visual and interview opportunity ahead of what is set to be a record-breaking celebration of women’s football, with matches to be played across Perth, Gold Coast and Sydney from 1–21 March 2026.
