Dozens of protesters have faced off against a convoy of federal officers for several hours after immigration officials descended on a cannabis grow house in Southern California. Agents were seen blocking a road near the 5.5 million-square-foot farm in Camarillo, firing gas canisters at the demonstrators to attempt to disperse the crowd. Local media reported that Glass House Farms has a permit to grow cannabis in the Ventura County, and as of last year used half of the space for cannabis while half was dedicated to tomatoes and cucumbers. The parent company of the farm Glass House Brands Inc. said in a brief statement on X that it "fully complied with agent search warrants."

The 30-year-old’s lawyers filed a claim for US$20m in damages against the Trump administration, alleging false imprisonment, malicious prosecution and being labelled as an antisemite.

Torrential monsoon rainfall has caused major flooding across roads and low-lying neighbourhoods in Pakistan’s city of Lahore, disrupting traffic and forcing emergency evacuations across the metropolitan area. Four flood-related deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours as the city received 150mm of rainfall, the heaviest single-day downpour this monsoon season. The National Disaster Management Authority said at least 90 people, including 45 children, have died in Pakistan from flood and rain-related incidents since June 26.

A fourth death has been confirmed in Guatemala a day after dozens of earthquakes shook the country, leaving crumbled walls and roads blocked by landslides. Volunteer firefighters worked to free the bodies of two people that were trapped in their vehicle when a boulder broke off a mountain and fell on them. The nation's seismological institute stated a 5.2 earthquake shook southern Guatemala, which then registered a wave of more than 150 aftershocks ranging from magnitudes of 3.9 to 5.6. More than 150 earthquakes and aftershocks with magnitudes ranging from 3.0 to 5.7 have been reported since Tuesday afternoon.

President Donald Trump has stated he believed the US was close to securing a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas. Trump said there is a "very good chance" of a ceasefire in Gaza this week or next, after meeting Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday for the second time in two days. Meanwhile, Netanyahu said during an interview with Fox Business Network’s Mornings with Maria, negotiations are focused on a 60-day ceasefire that would see half of the living and deceased hostages returned to Israel.

Yemen’s Houthi Rebels Attack Greek-Owned Cargo Ship In Red Sea | 10 News

Houthi rebels have released video of their attack on a Greek-owned cargo vessel carrying fertiliser. Drones were used to video the heavily armed militants boarding the carrier and storming the bridge before a Mayday call was issued, with the person warning the ship would be sunk. It’s understood the crew of 22 abandoned it before the attack, but the US embassy in Yemen fear the Houthis had "kidnapped many surviving crew members" and called for their immediate release. The Iran-backed Houthis said they attacked the Eternity C because it was heading to Israel, and had "moved to rescue a number of the ship's crew, provide them with medical care and transport them to a safe location".
