Ren Pedersen’s daughter Amy was only seven years old when she was diagnosed with a DIPG brain tumour, which is known as the deadliest childhood cancer with no cure, prevention or treatment. With a group of brave parents, Ren used his connections with the Children’s Cancer Institute to establish Australia’s first-ever tumour bank for DIPG to help ensure no child ever has to suffer from this cancer again.
