Ren Pedersen’s daughter Amy was only seven years old when she was diagnosed with a DIPG brain tumour, which is known as the deadliest childhood cancer with no cure, prevention or treatment. With a group of brave parents, Ren used his connections with the Children’s Cancer Institute to establish Australia’s first-ever tumour bank for DIPG to help ensure no child ever has to suffer from this cancer again.

Two women have been killed at a church in Kentucky after a car chase that began with a gunman shooting and injuring a police officer on Sunday. A small plane has crashed just seconds after leaving the runway at London Southend Airport in the United Kingdom on Sunday afternoon. Local media reported the 12-metre plane was returning to Lelystad in the Netherlands, where it is based. Dozens of protesters have faced off against a convoy of federal officers for several hours after immigration officials descended on a cannabis grow house in Southern California. Agents were seen blocking a road near the 5.5 million-square-foot farm in Camarillo, firing gas canisters at the demonstrators to attempt to disperse the crowd. Local media reported that Glass House Farms has a permit to grow cannabis in the Ventura County, and as of last year used half of the space for cannabis while half was dedicated to tomatoes and cucumbers.
