US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has confirmed he will be meeting with Denmark officials next week, as US President Donald Trump "actively discusses" the potential purchase of Greenland with his national security team. The United Nations and the European Union have strongly opposed Trump's pursuit of Greenland, with the latter stating it will remain an "unwavering champion of international law and multilateralism".
