The President said, "If they have to bring the pharmaceuticals into the country... they're going to be tariffed at a very, very high rate, like 200 per cent. Firefighters are battling a fierce blaze which has already burnt over 150 hectares in Spain’s Catalonia in less than a day as blistering heatwaves continue to grip Europe. Hundreds have gathered at London’s St Paul Cathedral for a memorial service to mark the 20th anniversary of the 7/7/ London bombings. The suicide attacks saw bombs detonated on three London underground trains and a bus on July 7, 2005, causing hundreds of casualties during the morning rush hour of the capital. Survivors Thelma Stober and Saba Edwards, whose mother Behnaz Mozakka died, read aloud the names of the 52 people killed as 52,000 white petals fell from the ceiling during the ceremony. Prince William attended a memorial ceremony at Hyde Park, while British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, along with the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, and other officials, laid wreaths at the July 7 Memorial Gardens.

At least 70 people have been confirmed dead in central Texas and another 41 remain missing following flash floods on Friday. Authorities said the death toll is set to rise as more storms are expected in the next 24 to 48 hours in the region which could lead to potential flash flooding. Those still missing include 11 girls and a counsellor from Camp Mystic summer camp, a nearly century-old Christian girls’ camp, which was deluged on Friday night.

Terrifying footage shows the moment an escaped pet lion leapt over a wall of a residential area and attacked a family in the eastern Pakistani city of Lahore. Authorities have since arrested the lion’s owner after the woman and her five- and seven-year-old children suffered injuries to their faces and arms on Wednesday night. The nephew of the lion’s owner and said they built a very durable enclosure for him, “but on the day this incident happened, the boy cleaned it up, but he forgot to lock it.” Police said the lion later returned to the owners' farmhouse and was relocated to a wildlife park.
