Founded by singer/songwriter Don Spencer OAM, the Australian Children’s Music Foundation (ACMF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing music education and opportunities to children across Australia, particularly those who are disadvantaged or facing challenges. They offer music therapy at the Sydney Children's Hospital and Royal Melbourne Children's Hospital, aiming to support the emotional well-being of young patients. ACMF also runs a national songwriting competition open to all school-aged children, fostering creativity and expression. Additionally, the foundation works in remote Indigenous communities across Australia, ensuring access to music education and opportunities for children regardless of their background or location. Through music workshops, performances, and instrument provision, ACMF strives to inspire creativity, build confidence, and promote social inclusion.
