Coming fifth in last year’s Titans v Rebels, Kirby became one of the most loved players from that series for her tactical game play and cheeky personality.

Anointed the Rebel Queen, Kirby might have come into the game the first time without much prior knowledge of the game but that’s all changed this time around.

Kirby says, “My game will be the same, but better, on steroids. There will be lies and manipulation. I’m going to win by being a triple threat.

“I’m going to use my charisma and that’s how I’m going to win. Be strategic, plant seeds, manipulate.”

She also knows how to adapt and let people think they are in control which Kirby is hoping will help her stay in the game to the end, she says, “I am an Aboriginal woman in Australia, and we’re not considered the top of the food chain. I’ve worked in mainstream construction, mining, AFL, male dominated sports and environments. So, I’ve always known to take a back seat and allow people to feel empowered that they’re in control of what I’m doing.

“Being on Australia v The World is huge for me as I’m the first ever Aboriginal player representing Australia on the world stage in this game. I can’t wait to get started and after playing last year, I know more about what I’m doing.”
