Andrew Strickland has a successful career as a hairdresser and although he enjoys it, he decided it was time to try something new. Chasing his passion for food, he applied for MasterChef Australia season 4.
"I think the link between hairdressing and food is when you're hairdressing, you go into that zone and it’s the same with food. I am going to put everything I have into this, I haven’t bought a ticket on this train just to get off 2 stops before the end."
During his time in the MasterChef kitchen, he created a variety of delicious dishes that wowed the judges.
His most memorable dish was his Tuna Rissoles Nothing Like Mums which was a nod to his upbringing and it left the judges wanting more.
