“I’m literally scared of everything and I don’t want to define them more by focussing on them.”

Poh’s food career began in the first season of MasterChef Australia in 2009. Shortly after she was offered her own cooking show, Poh’s Kitchen, on ABC 1. The third season, Poh’s Kitchen Lends A Hand received rave reviews.

In 2015 Poh joined SBS with her series Poh & Co running for two seasons, a fly on the wall look into her hectic life as a cook, an artist, and small business owner. Since then, she has appeared on several new seasons of MasterChef as both a guest judge and celebrity contestant.

In 2010 Poh fulfilled a lifelong dream of publishing her first cookbook, Poh’s Kitchen, My Cooking Adventures, which stayed in the top ten Australian bestsellers list for six weeks. Poh published a further two books, SameSame but Different and Poh Bakes A Hundred Greats, in 2017. She has a new publishing deal that will see her fourth book on shelves for Christmas 2022.

Despite her already overflowing schedule as a TV presenter and author, Poh still finds time to pursue a third career as a visual artist, painting professionally for over ten years. Her work is collected both nationally and overseas with 14 solo exhibitions under her belt.
