
Rebekah Elmaloglou

Rebekah began her career at the tender age of eight playing Marta in the production of The Sound of Music (The Australian Elizabethan Theatre Trust). She went on to appear in numerous film and television productions, with her most notable roles playing Sophie Simpson on Home and Away and for the last 12 years as Terese Willis on the iconic show Neighbours.
Beyond her roles in Australia’s two reigning soaps, Rebekah has appeared in a number of films, including Princess Kate, Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, In Too Deep, Lorca and the Outlaws, Love in Limbo, Trumper Tree, Relatives, The Sum of Us, Back of Beyond, and From all Sides. Rebekah also starred in Jocelyn Moorhouse’s debut short film The Seige of Bartons Bathroom.
Her television credits include All Saints, Water Rats, E Street, GP, A Country Practice, Paradise Beach, Pacific Drive, Damian Parer, Emma, Queen of the South Seas, Five Times Dizzy an Adventures on Kythera. Most recently, she did a cameo on Troy Kinne’s pilot comedy show Full Story.
Rebekah has also appeared in a number of stage shows, including Gwendolyn in Caravan (Sydney Opera House), and her roles in The Vagina Monologues (Adrian Bohm) and the national tour of Wogboys (Thirdcosta) Rebekah has also appeared in a number of British pantomimes.
Her chosen charity, SANE Australia, is the leading national mental health organisation for those dealing with complex mental health issues, extending support to their families, friends, and supporters. “I chose them as I’ve had mental health issues myself and I have had people in my life who have also been diagnosed with very serious issues. The also support family, friends and carers too,” Rebekah said.
