Danielle Dixon entered the MasterChef kitchen at the age of 29 to chase her dream of becoming a great chef.

"I manage my family auto-repairs business in Brisbane, but I really want to become a qualified chef. I describe myself as a bit rockabilly, I love that vintage look, it's all about elegance, the hair, the makeup and the shoes. I'm a bit quirky too sometimes and am experimental in my cooking style. I love taking traditional dishes and giving them a twist or a modern edge."

During her time in the competition, she curated many delicious dishes and built strong friendships with her fellow contestants.

One of her memorable dishes was her Chicken Assiette, as well as the judge's favourite dish - Lamb and Bean casserole with Anchovy Crumb and Patatas.
